Airweave Travel Mattress Topper

I am writing this from a hotel bed that is springy and soft. I have back problems and usually sleep on a firm tempur-adapt mattress at home. Before my airweave mattress topper, I used to dread travel, compressing it into as few days as possible. More often than not I would ask for extra blankets to make a nest on the floor because the luxury hotel bed was too soft and uncomfortable for me to fall asleep. The floor hurt my hips and knees and shoulders but I could at least get a few hours of sleep.

I’ve taken my airweave mattress topper on 4 trips now, and my life has been changed. This is the best item I have purchased in the last decade in terms of the effect it has had on my life. Getting 8 hours of great sleep and waking up rested is priceless. Even when the hotel mattress is ultra squishy and I’m sinking deep into it, I put the airweave on top and all of a sudden I’m lying on a firm, supportive bed. It defies logic that something so thin that rolls up could be so firm when placed on a soft squishy base, but it is. The airweave mattress topper is nothing short of magic and worth every single penny (and then some). I am never leaving home without it.

Since using the portable mattress and S pillow, I no longer feel pain in my neck or shoulders when I wake up in the morning. You can stay comfortable even in the summer when it's hard to sleep.

I love my airweave portable. I use it on top of a takami mat at home (with special knee pillows due to some longstanding joint issues) and also roll it up to take with me on travel. It can convert anything from a camping cot to a hotel mattress to a healthy and supportive sleep surface. It did take an adjustment period and is not ideal for side sleeping (at least for me). I had to first train myself to sleep on my back. Others without hip/knee issues may be able to use it for side sleeping just fine. All in all, it is well worth the premium price. Regular foam or air pads don't compare. It's amazing the level of support you get from something only an inch or so thick.

I was planning a vacation as a single parent with 2 kids and knew I would need to sleep as well as possible. We were booked into great hotels and resorts but I knew my sensitive body would be in pain and I would be grumpy if I didn’t sleep comfortably every night of our trip. About 4 days into the 7 day trip, I started to feel the joint stiffness consistent with an uncomfortable mattress. So I pulled out the Airweave topper, and used it for the rest of our trip. I was so surprised that such a thin, light topper would be my saving grace. I slept without pain the rest of the trip!

I did also use the Airweave topper in a large inflatable air bed on a separate occasion. The air bed was concave in the middle, and my body just couldn’t get comfortable on a bed that wasn’t flat to start with, even with the Airweave topper.

Yes this is not cheap, but it has made my sleep much better. I wake up with less pain, and I don't get as hot. I feel like I fall asleep faster with this. I got the portable one because I might end up moving soon, and I might even travel with it. I am 5'8", and and I could even live with a smaller width, like the Ritz Paris (or whatever) model that they also have, but this one is a bit thicker and it's around the same price. But for frequent traveler, maybe the other portable one is better.

I bought it for a trip this summer, and just fell in love with it. It really helped my sleep. I’m actually using it even after returning from the trip. Thank you!

I’m an airweave mattress user. Recently, I had to stay at a hotel for a month. My hips started hurting because of the super soft mattress. My hip pain has improved after using this product. It gives less support to the back than airweave mattress but better than nothing.

I got this portable mattress topper because I have to rotate through about 5 different beds in various call rooms as a doctor. I like firm mattresses and all of these beds in these assigned rooms are a little too soft/old. And sometimes there are no beds and I have to sleep on a stretcher which is covered in plastic and has no breathability.

The great thing about this portable topper is that it is super super light. It's large but I just leave in in my car when I'm not using it and whenever I end up on-call I bring it into the call room. It's no burden at all. Unpacks easily, and then rolls back up easiy and the straps with snaps hold it together for the bag. I never have any trouble getting it back into its container.

It definitely improves these beds, especially the stretchers, and I get much better sleep. One room has a really saggy mattress and this doesn't help much with that but I don't think that's an issue with this topper, the bed itself is just too old and broken. The price for this thing is steep but I recommend it. Sleep is important.

I purchased this portable airweave mattress topper to use on a twin-sized sleep sofa. No one enjoys the feel of the metal bars on their backs! It is fantastic!! Makes a good night's sleep a reality.

I purchased this product specifically in order to sleep on bad hotel and airbnb mattresses and because it came with a 90 day guarantee. Finally took it out for a test drive at a yoga retreat but the bed there was pretty firm. I'll see how it works next month at a usual hotel. Pros so far are that it is easy to roll up and pack and it's light. Fingers crossed that it will transform travel!

I really need a firm mattress, and when traveling or staying with friends this is frequently not an option. But with this I can now firm up a mattress, and get a good night's sleep.
